Turbo #36
I still have for exchange #17, 27 and 41. If anyone interested, drop me a line.
I know it’s a bit late to talk about Christmas, or at least New Year’s presents, but can’t do anything about it. Letters go not faster than I wanted to. So, getting things straight, few days ago I got some presents from one blog reader, and former turbo gum collector. It is something special to get such a cool presents, as being turbo gum collector, and it’s even was my missing. Here’s #2 from turbo 1-50 series to my collection. Straight from CANADA! Yes, quite far away.

Few words and greetings from my reader, as I asked to tell me some short story about turbo gum collecting from the past.
I was collecting Turbo when I was 10-12 years old and over years built a complete Series 2 collection (51 – 120). I still have it in an old post stamps album. In the same collection I found a lone #2 that I sent you, I remember a friend brought it back from Turkey.
Keep up your collection – I was very surprised to find someone still collecting these inserts from my childhood.
Thanks. With this finding i’m heading to second part in collecting legendary turbo 1-50 series gum papers. 24 to go.
Yes, at last, after long years of searches, turbo 1-50 cover successfully spotted, acquired, traveled long way to new home, and finally it’s in my hands. Turbo covers collection was so lonely without very first turbo covers. So I think I have achieved minimum possible turbo covers collecting goal, acquired at least one cover from every different turbo gum series, turbo 1-50 counting in, and not counting bonus turbo series. Story with more details very soon, make sure to come by tomorrow evening.
And yes, here’s it:

turbo 1-50 cover from year '86
Good news for today. Three at once.
First. Completed first half (it’s now 25 different!) of legendary turbo 1-50 gum papers series with receiving #39 bmw. Exchanged it into another turbo 1-50 I had. It’s also first ever direct 1:1 turbo 1-50 exchange for me.

Second. Finally completed and now I have full otomoto 101-200 set. As I remember correctly, it took me whole many years to do it, about a year to find last 5 missing, and half a year to hunt down last 2. Today is the day, last #117 came to me. I’m not sure if it would be possible to collect another full otomoto set, as value of them rise when they are less available. But still, until full satisfying collection, what left are some otomoto covers to collect. I have all from 1-100, and still not many from 101-200. Actually, haven’t been collecting them so much as papers.

Third. Results of small fast deal: 1 turbo cover came directly into collection, with new color in the set, another 10 came indirectly with additional months. And nice additional covers from ’88 and ’89 for exchange. In good quality.
